I'm feeling good about school right now. I received great comments from my writing proff on my first 4-5 page essay I wrote. I guess all those years working as a secretary, writing letters, newsletters and bulletins would come in handy. My proff usually give A's at all and if she does, she may only give one. Well... I got an A and her comments were that it was nearly perfectly edited and very compelling. After class, I was studying for Hebrew during chapel in the PBC when she struck up a conversation with me about my essay and my life. She told me that I am very smart and it surprised her that I didn't go to college after high school. Anyway, I'm very appreciative of the positive comments and the fact that she cares about my life & my experiences.
I had a Hebrew Exam today and I feel that I did well. I studied a lot and worked hard on learning vocab. This next week, I'm going to have to work hard on Old Testament reading. Our class is over on Monday by next Wednesday we have a 100 point Summary due, multiple choice test on Joshua through the end of the Old Testament, and a 3-4 page Essay for our final. Fun stuff. Good thing I have Monday through Wednesday off from work so I can spend a lot of time on the essay.
So far, college is going well! Oh yeah... and I realized last night that I only have to go to 12 chapels a semester because I'm over the age of 26. That means I only have to go to 1 out of the 28 chapels left because I've already gone to 11. Of course, I do enjoy going & will plan to go unless I have to study for a Hebrew quiz or test.
